Necklaces
The wooden beads fare made from pruned fruit-tree branches and from fallen manzanita branches collected in nearby forests. These small branches are cut into short lengths and the pattern is burned into the wood, before polishing.
The blown and gilded glass Venetian beads were purchased from artist Lucio Bubacco in the 1980s. The multicolored glass Venetian beads are custom-made for the necklaces by Emanuela Chimonton in Venice. Emanuela is currently a Docent in Lucio Bubacco's Gallery.
